It is difficult to defend the right to land in a country where a constitution from the Pinochet dictatorship is still in force. When agricultural and timber corporations appropriate millions of hectares and devastate the environment, the Mapuche actively resist, and the state calls their struggle terrorism. Magdalena Krysinska-Kalużna talks with Chilean geographer Diego Benavent Peña.
