First of all, I’d like to recommend the fims of my prominent friend Sergey Loznica: "State Funeral" as well as "Donbass." Not to be missed. I only wish "State Funeral" lasted longer… it’s simply a staggering portrait of enslavement and the cynicism of tyrany. How true today. Best to watch it on the big screen though.
"Putin's Witnesses" – If you just don’t get contemporary Russia, or Polish politics for that matter, you have to watch this. Privately, I am full of admiration for Vitaliy‘s courage and uncompromising attitude in the making of this film. I know the price he paid for being an independent artist and a decent person.
"I Am Not Your Negro" – It’s amazing, this actually happened not long ago… and still defines part of America today.
"Woman" – I cried from scene one.
